What is Google Glasses

Google Glasses, It’s Google's project program for developing a line of hands free, head mounted intelligent devices that can be worn by users as "wearable computing" eyewear which is latest technology system. First product release from Project Glass, Google Glass, is expected to become available at markets for purchase at year of 2013 and it’s should retail for less than $1500 etc.

Google Glasses will look like a pair of normal eyeglasses but the lens of the glasses will be an interactive, smartphone like display with natural language voice command support as well as Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity and many more. Google Glass will be powered by the Android mobile operating system and it is expected to offer compatibility with both Android powered mobile devices system and Apple iOS powered devices system.

Google glasses are sometimes also called Google goggles, although is inaccurate because Google Goggles is actually a separate Google project that uses images, rather than text or voice commands, to conduct a search etc.

Google Glasses provide an experience known as augmented reality, where images are superimposed over what the user sees in real life which is amazing to be. With Google Glasses, these images are generally icons that provide directions, alert users to messages from contacts,  give weather updates and other things.

This technology's potential has been praised as a futuristic way to deliver hands free computing, critics have pointed out its ability to distract walkers or drivers and questioned its utility for those who already wear corrective eyeglasses or experience of that.
