What is Google Adsense

Google AdSense is an advertising placement service platform by Google. The program is designed for website publishers who want to display targeted text, video or image any kinds of advertisements on website pages and earn money when site visitors view or click the ads.

The advertisements are controlled and managed by Google and Web publishers simply need to create a free of cost AdSense account and copy and paste provided code to display the ads. Getting Revenue using AdSense is generated on a per-click or per-impression basis etc. It is totally free to become a verified website publisher in the Google AdSense program.

Google currently offers a number of different AdSense programs, which is depending on the type of content you will place the ads on (e.g. webpage or RSS feed etc). Some of the more common programs are :

•    Google AdSense for content: display the ads on a website
•    Google AdSense for search: display the ads in search engine results on a website
•    Google AdSense for mobile: display the ads on a mobile website
•    Google AdSense for feeds: display the ads in RSS feeds
•    Google AdSense for domains: display the ads on unused domains

Google AdSense system is based on three parties; Advertiser as a first, Publisher as second and, Google as a third party and Google AdSense is an effectively designed system in which party would get the benefit by participation. Advertiser have to pay via Adwords for Ads to get web traffic, Publisher has to show Advertiser ads on his or her website or blog to get paid for each click and Google’s Job is to provide the most reliable platform to both first parties and will deduct 28% of total from revenue generated by publisher.

Google AdSense users will be given control over the types of the ads that appear on their pages and offered metrics on how much web traffic their ads are receiving. Also, signing up is free. The only cost to using Google AdSense is the addition of what some consider to be unsightly ads that don’t always integrate nicely into web layouts system.
